Simon Granville has a diverse work experience in scientific research. Simon started their career as a Student at Victoria University of Wellington in 2003 and continued working there as a Senior Scientist from 2014. Simon also worked as a Research Scientist at Industrial Research Ltd from 2011 to 2013 and at Callaghan Innovation from 2013 to 2014. Simon was a Postdoctoral Physicist at EPFL from 2007 to 2010, where they conducted research in spintronics, spincaloritronics, magnetism, and magnetic nanostructures. Simon collaborated with various international laboratories during this time. Simon's most recent positions include being an Associate Investigator at the MacDiarmid Institute for Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology from 2011 to 2018, a Senior Scientist at Robinson Research Institute since 2014, and a Principal Investigator at The MacDiarmid Institute since 2018.
