Daniel Fleeter

As Head of Esports for Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. (MSG Sports), Daniel Fleeter oversees business strategy and operations for the Company’s esports division, which includes Counter Logic Gaming (CLG), a North American esports organization, and Knicks Gaming, an NBA 2K League franchise. In his role, Mr. Fleeter is responsible for developing and executing effective strategies for driving new business initiatives, marketing partnerships and fan engagement. In addition, he works closely with major game publishers and leagues to grow the esports and gaming industries.

Prior to MSG Sports becoming a standalone company in April 2020, Mr. Fleeter served in the same position at The Madison Square Garden Company (MSG). At MSG, Mr. Fleeter previously served as Vice President of Corporate Development, where he was responsible for identifying, executing and managing growth initiatives in the sports and entertainment industry. He played an essential role in negotiating MSG’s acquisition of CLG in 2017, driving MSG’s investment in DraftKings, the fantasy sports giant, and establishing the Knicks Gaming franchise, which was part of the NBA 2K League’s inaugural season in 2018 and won the first League Championship title.
