Josh Keefe is a seasoned journalist specializing in government accountability and investigative reporting. Currently serving as a Government Accountability Reporter for The Maine Monitor/Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting since March 2024, Josh previously held roles as a Researcher at On Point Investigations, LLC, and an Investigative Reporter at both the Tennessean and Bangor Daily News. Josh's expertise includes covering issues related to money and political influence at Newsweek Media Group, focusing on corporate lobbying, political fundraising, government ethics, and more. Josh also has experience as an Editorial Intern at Gothamist.com and as a freelance journalist, contributing feature stories to various news and lifestyle outlets. Josh holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Skidmore College.
