Robert Wood

Robert Wood is a seasoned professional in facilities management with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently semi-retired since April 2022, Robert is also serving as Facilities Director and Operations Director at Waseef in Qatar since November 2014. In parallel, Robert has held the position of Contracts Manager at MAF Dalkia Middle East since September 2013, overseeing MEP and contract management for the Abu Dhabi Airport Company. Previously, Robert was Division Head and General Manager for Facilities Management Services at Al-Suwaidi Services, where responsibilities included P&L and commercial accountability across Saudi Arabia. Robert also held the role of General Manager at EMCOR Facilities Services, managing the Bahrain and Kuwait branches. Educational credentials include a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and a high school diploma from Marias Viljoen Technical High School in South Africa.
