Michaela Melin is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Currently serving as the Head of Marketing at The Makers since January 2023, Michaela has previously held key marketing roles at Mia & Ben and Jack Black Brewing Company, focusing on brand building and strategic initiatives. Additionally, Michaela has experience in creative agency settings as an Account Director at FOUNDRY Berlin | Zurich, where strategic planning and storytelling were pivotal to growth. Early career foundations were established at The Jupiter Drawing Room Cape Town and Woolworths, focusing on account management and design solutions. Michaela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Cape Town and has pursued additional studies in digital branding and marketing.
