Bethany Deeds

Bethany Deeds has a wealth of experience in data protection and audit. Bethany began their career in 2007 as a Staff Auditor for Lincoln Financial Group, where they also worked as a Bank Recon Analyst and Check Distribution/Accounts Payable Balance Specialist. In 2013, they joined Do it Best Corp. as an Internal Auditor. Since 2017, they have held various roles at The Mako Group, LLC, including Data Protection and Audit Director, Data Protection and Audit Manager, and Senior Information Technology Auditor.

Bethany Deeds obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Purdue University Fort Wayne between 2005 and 2010. Bethany then obtained the CPA certification from Indiana in 2011. In 2014, they obtained the CIA certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. In 2016, they obtained the CFE certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). In 2018, they obtained the CISA certification from ISACA. In 2020, they obtained the CCSFP certification from HITRUST. In May 2022, they obtained the CHQP certification from HITRUST.
