Chantá Parker

Chantá Parker is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in public defense and criminal justice reform. Currently serving as a Partner at The Management Center since June 2022, Parker previously held significant roles including Founding Managing Director and Supervising Attorney at Neighborhood Defender Service, and Special Counsel for New Initiatives at the Innocence Project. With a robust background in training and development, Parker has instructed public defenders at Gideon's Promise and supervised law students at notable law schools. Parker's commitment to addressing racial bias and the needs of marginalized communities is evident through leadership positions in various organizations, including the Essie Justice Group and the Legal Aid Society. A graduate of New York University School of Law and Spelman College, Parker has a strong academic foundation in Criminal Law and African-American History.
