Emma Loura

Emma Loura is a seasoned reporter currently working at The Manhattan Mercury since August 2023, previously serving as a news reporter at Times Pottawatomie from September 2021 to August 2023. Emma has extensive experience in the field of journalism, including a role as a reporter at St. Mary's Star Newspaper and freelance writing for The Oakland Express between September 2019 and October 2022. Prior to focusing on journalism, Emma worked in various positions, including line cook at Friendship House Family Restaurant and barista at MJ's Coffeehouse. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Kansas State University and an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from St. Mary's Academy and College.
