Maryann Steinmiller

Group Experience Coordinator at The Mariners' Museum and Park

MaryAnn Steinmiller is currently serving as the Group Experience Coordinator at The Mariners'​ Museum and Park since July 2022. Previously, MaryAnn held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University, where responsibilities included researching and designing interpretative signage for the bicentennial of Pocahontas County, and conducting evaluations to ensure community input. MaryAnn has also managed oral history projects and served as a costumed historical interpreter, where skills in educational program development, community engagement, and historical research were utilized. Additional experience includes roles focused on educational content development, museum education, public relations, and volunteer management across various historical institutions. MaryAnn holds a Master's degree in Public/Applied History and a Bachelor's degree in American History from West Virginia University and Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
