Jo Shailes

Jo Shailes has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jo currently works as a Marketing Director at The Marketing Centre, where they are responsible for various projects including STQ Vantage. Jo has held several marketing director roles for different companies such as Hillcroft Surgery Supplies, Process Vision, G&L Consultancy, Varitech Systems / Streamline Systems, Sirius Insight, and Halco Europe Ltd.

Prior to their current role, Jo worked as a Growth Strategist at UBT, where they helped businesses transform and grow through strategic marketing processes. Jo also has experience as a Marketing Consultant at Shailes Consultancy, working with clients like Pipeotech, Ecvio, and Green Transition Holding.

Jo's earlier career includes significant roles at Trelleborg Offshore, where they served as the Vice President of Marketing, creating marketing and communication strategies for various industries. Jo also worked at GE Oil & Gas in strategic marketing and marketing communications program leadership positions.

Before that, Jo held marketing coordinator and database manager roles at GE Equipment Services and Friends of the Bridegoom, respectively. Jo began their career as an Account Analyst at Occam DM Ltd and completed a database analyst internship at Sprint.

Jo Shailes completed a Learning & Development Certificate in Marketing and Brand Strategy at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2021. From 2008 to 2010, they obtained a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the same institution. Prior to that, Jo earned a BSC Honours degree in Psychology and IT in science from the University of the West of England from 1998 to 2001. They also completed A Levels in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and English at Blundell's School from 1993 to 1998. In addition to these educational achievements, Jo Shailes became a CIM Chartered Marketer FCIM Member and obtained the certification in April 2023 from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
