Athena Towery

Athena Towery currently serves as Grounds Supervisor at Ccbc Catonsville Foundation and has held the position of Horticulturist at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore since February 2019. Additionally, Athena has extensive experience in the publishing industry, serving as Production Director at The City Paper since 1995, where responsibilities have included heading the production process of an award-winning alternative newspaper, overseeing production schedules, deadlines, quality control, and team training. As Art Director, Athena ensured that visual messaging aligned with the publisher's vision by coordinating the efforts of design staff. Previous roles include Lead Designer at B. Creative Group, Graphic Designer at Johns Hopkins University Design and Pubs, and Graphic Designer/Photo Retoucher at Davis Instruments. Athena's educational background includes a degree in Information Technology with a focus on Multiplatform Software Development from Perdue University Global and an Associate's Degree in Software Development from Kaplan University.
