The Maryland Zoo
Maryellen Reek is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the animal health industry, having served in various roles over several decades. After retiring from Boehringer Ingelheim in January 2020, Maryellen Reek has been actively volunteering as an Educator at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore since March 2019. Prior to retirement, Maryellen Reek was a Senior Sales Development Representative at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health - US, contributing to the management of a $4.6 million territory. With a solid foundation established at Merial, where Maryellen Reek worked as a Senior Sales Development Representative managing a significant territory, and at Merck Animal Health as an Account Manager overseeing large and small animal products, Maryellen Reek has built a distinguished career in animal health sales and management. Maryellen Reek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences from Purdue University in 1978.
