The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is America's 3rd oldest Zoo and home to more than 1,500 wild animals representing nearly 200 individual species.  As a non-profit organization, cultural center of the community and regional landmark, the Zoo is dedicated to the best in wildlife conservation and education.

The Education and Outreach team at The Maryland Zoo is dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation through engaging educational programs. They develop and facilitate interactive outreach initiatives, workshops, and guided tours that connect the community with the Zoo's mission. This team also recruits and trains volunteers to enhance visitor experiences and promote awareness of animal care and conservation efforts.
