A/Prof Terence C Chua is an accomplished Associate Professor of Surgery at The University of Queensland and Griffith University, with concurrent roles as a VMO Surgeon at multiple hospitals including Greenslopes Private Hospital, Sunnybank Private Hospital, The Mater Private Hospital, and Gold Coast Private Hospital. With extensive surgical experience at Metro South Health as a General and Colorectal Surgeon, A/Prof Chua has previously held positions as a Senior Registrar in General Surgery at Northern Sydney Local Health District, and as a Surgical Registrar at both Mona Vale Hospital and Lismore Base Hospital. A/Prof Chua's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Surgical Oncology, MRCS (Ed) in Surgery, an MBBS in Medicine, and a BSc Med (Hons) in Clinical Research, all obtained from prestigious institutions, including UNSW and the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
