Kristin Peters

Kristin Peters is an experienced educator and leader in mathematics education, currently serving as a Workshop Leader at The Math Learning Center since September 2024, after previously holding the position of Teacher in Residence at the same organization. Kristin's extensive background includes roles as a Classroom Teacher and Math Intervention Specialist at Battle Ground Public Schools, along with various teaching positions at Evergreen Public Schools spanning over a decade. Kristin has played significant roles in curriculum development through participation in projects such as the MLC Bridges TEA Project and the NTST initiative. With a strong academic foundation, Kristin holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education from George Fox University and a specialization in Elementary Mathematics Leadership from Portland State University.
