Alejandra Sayavedra

Alejandra Sayavedra, CPA has over 10 years of work experience in tax-related roles. Alejandra started their career at EY as a Tax Staff and progressed to become a Tax Senior, working on a variety of projects including federal and state compliance for partnerships in industries such as real estate, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Alejandra also worked with the Qualitative Services group, conducting Research and Development Studies and Meals & Entertainment studies to save clients millions of dollars in tax liability. In 2016, they became an International Tax Manager at EY, where they further broadened their tax knowledge and strengthened their leadership skills by managing teams and delivering tax professional services. In 2018, Alejandra joined The Mather Group as a Senior Tax Manager, specializing in international tax planning. Alejandra was recently promoted to the role of Tax Director, where they are responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing tax planning opportunities for clients with a global tax profile.

Alejandra Sayavedra, CPA obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 2011. Alejandra continued their education at the same university and earned a Master of Accountancy (Macc) degree in 2011. In 2012, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation.
