Ryan Baty

Ryan Baty's work experience includes serving as a County Commissioner for Sedgwick County Government since January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Partner at Mass Strategies, LLC starting in August 2021. Ryan founded and currently serves as the Owner of THE mattress HUB, a leading mattress retailer with over 15 stores in Kansas, since January 2008. In addition, they are the Chief Executive Officer of Baty Investments LLC since February 2018. Ryan also has experience as a Senior Partner at 6th Man Strategies from September 2021 to August 2023. Ryan held pastoral roles at Family Church from August 2009 to September 2021, initially as a Youth Pastor and later as an Associate Pastor. Before that, they worked as a Facility and Event Coordinator (Interim) at the Dole Institute of Politics in 2005. Their earlier experience includes playing professional baseball for the Tampa Bay Rays Organization from May 2004 to June 2005.

Ryan Baty received a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication and Rhetoric from the University of Kansas in 2004. Ryan then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Newman University from 2012 to 2014.
