Elaine Shaw

Elaine Shaw is an experienced Ombuds Consultant currently employed at The McCammon Group since February 2024. Previously, Elaine served as an Ombuds for the USGBC Detroit Region and the International Ombudsman Association, where roles included providing support and mediation in various organizational settings. Elaine's extensive background in human resources spans multiple industries, including significant leadership positions at Pfizer, where responsibilities included designing collaborative dispute resolution options within the Employee Relations Group and directing HR for a large R&D site. Prior experiences also include roles at Kelly Services, KFC, PepsiCo, and Verizon, where Elaine contributed to HR generalist support, employee relations, and management. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution from Kansas State University, a law degree from Michigan State University, and degrees in Labor and Industrial Relations and Psychology from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Illinois Wesleyan University, respectively.
