Joseph Gold

Chief Medical Officer at McLean Hospital

Dr. Gold oversees all of the hospital’s clinical programs across multiple sites, age groups and levels of care. Dr. Gold serves as the physician leader of McLean’s Schwartz Center Rounds to promote compassionate care giving and support to caregivers. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the MGH-McLean Child Psychiatry Residency Training Committee.

In addition, Dr. Gold helped to design and serves as statewide associate medical director of the Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Project (MCPAP). This innovative consultation support for primary care pediatricians covers over 1,400,000 youths in the Commonwealth.
