Cory Schnurr

Head of Marketplace Innovation at The Media Trust

Cory Schnurr has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Starting in 2009, Cory co-founded KW Urban Culture, where they served as the Communications and Operations Lead. In 2010, Cory co-founded Brixton Music and served as the Business and Operations Lead, as well as the Consulting Director of Integrated Marketing Communications. In 2011, Cory worked as a Public Relations Consultant and Director for Students Offering Support, as well as a Content Writer and Public Relations Consultant for ACCKWA. Additionally, Cory was a Coordinator for NATIONAL Public Relations. In 2014, Cory was the Business and Marketplace Development Lead for Happenate. From 2015-2017, Cory was a Partner Success and Business Development Lead and Ad Ops - Demand for Sortable. In 2017, Cory was the Director of Demand Strategy and Partnerships for EMX Digital and a Management Consultant for Cory Schnurr Consulting. Since 2019, Cory has been the Head of Marketplace Innovation for The Media Trust.

Cory Schnurr attended Grand River Collegiate Institute before pursuing post-secondary education. Cory then attended Conestoga College, where they obtained a Certificate in Media and Communications in 2009, followed by a Diploma in Public Relations in 2011. Cory then completed a Co-op Bachelor (BPR) in Public Relations at Conestoga College in 2013.
