Samuel Fuentes

Samuel Fuentes has been serving in the education field since the year 2000. He completed a BA in English Secondary and a MA in English as a Second Language fromAna G. Mendez University in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. He received his certifications as a K-12 Bilingual Teacher and School Administrator. He was born in Puerto Rico but raised in Brooklyn, NY.

He moved to Tyler, Texas in the summer of 2016 with his wife of 20 years, Sonia, and their three children. His passion for the Lord has allowed him to serve in the pastoral and prison ministries as a worship leader and Bible teacher. He has done several short mission trips to different countries sharing the Gospel to others.

He considers a blessing and a privilege to work for The Mentoring Alliance because it provides him the opportunity to serve the community of Tyler and East Texas by reaching students and their families, demonstrating the love of God through serving and compassion.
