Alan Horn

Alan Horn is an experienced professional with a robust background in development and governance roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Development at the Glasgow School of Art since February 2010, Alan also holds non-executive director positions at the National Library of Scotland and The Merchants House of Glasgow, where Alan chairs the Investment Committee. Additionally, Alan is actively involved in the Glasgow Art Club as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and has served on several committees, including as Chair of the Glasgow Educational and Marshall Trust and as a trustee for institutions like the Glasgow Science Centre and the High School of Glasgow Educational Trust. Alan's educational credentials include a Master of Arts and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow, along with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Strathclyde.
