David Howitt

David Howitt is the Founder and CEO of The Meriwether Group, a private equity firm that advises disruptive consumer brands, and has held this role since January 2004. Howitt is also involved in various advisory capacities, serving on the Board of Visitors at Lewis and Clark Law School, the Regional Board of Advisors at Denison University, and as a member of the Board of Advisors for Bloch International and previously for Summit Bank. Additionally, Howitt is the founder and author of Heed Your Call, which encourages individuals to embrace broader life perspectives. With prior experience at adidas in licensing and corporate counsel roles, and as general counsel and partner at Oregon Chai, Howitt has a strong background in legal matters within the consumer products sector. Educationally, Howitt holds a JD in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis & Clark Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Denison University.
