Assoicate Director, Long Term Care Admissions at The MetroHealth System

Cheri Menoni, RN, BSN has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Cheri began their career at The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH in 1997, where they served as a Nurse Manager. Cheri later assumed the role of Associate Director, Long Term Care Admissions, where they coordinated admissions to various healthcare facilities and acted as a liaison between hospital social workers and discharge planners. In 2000, Cheri worked at Long term Care @ MetroHealth as an Admissions Coordinator, where they admitted patients to skilled nursing facilities and obtained pre-certifications from insurance companies. Cheri also directed weekly managed care meetings and served as an information referral source for callers and visitors. Cheri returned to The MetroHealth System in 2014 as an RN at 6A, a 29-bed sub-acute unit. Their responsibilities included direct patient care, such as treatments, assessments, discharge planning, education, and promotion of self-care.

Cheri Menoni, RN, BSN completed their Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences in Nursing at Cuyahoga Community College in 2013. Cheri went on to earn their Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Science at Walden University from 2014 to 2016.
