Nycole West

Nycole West has extensive work experience in human resources and labor relations. Nycole currently serves as the Director of HR Operations at The MetroHealth System, beginning in May 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Executive Director of Employee & Labor Relations at Cuyahoga Community College from July 2021 to May 2022.

From August 2016 to July 2021, Nycole held the position of Director/Chief Human Resources Officer at the City of Cleveland - City Hall. In this role, they oversaw all human resources operations for the city.

Nycole has also worked at the City of Cleveland, starting in September 2002. Nycole held various positions within labor relations, including Labor Relations Manager from October 2010 to August 2016, Labor Relations Officer from April 2005 to October 2010, and Labor Relations Assistant from September 2002 to April 2005. In these roles, they supervised collective bargaining agreements, provided consultation on contract interpretation and administration, and served as the Chief Negotiator for negotiations.

Nycole West, IPMA-SCP completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies at Duquesne University from 1998 to 2002. In 2016 to 2017, they attended the Leadership Academy 26 at Cleveland State University, where they studied Public Administration. Nycole also pursued a Master of Legal Studies degree at Cleveland State University, specializing in Labor & Employment Law, starting in 2014. Nycole West has an additional certification from Cleveland State University, known as the Cleveland Management Academy.
