Laura G. Einstein is an experienced art professional currently serving as the Manager of the Mezzanine Gallery at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, a position held since October 2018. Prior to this, Laura worked as Principal/Consultant at LGE Fine Art Consulting from April 1993 to October 2018, where expertise in curatorial practices was leveraged to advise on exhibits across various institutions. Laura also held the role of Executive Director at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking from September 2014 to August 2017, overseeing growth initiatives and managing a substantial budget. Earlier experience includes a lecturer position at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and assistant curatorial duties at Yale University Art Gallery, with a focus on Asian art. Educational credentials include an MA in Asian Art from The Ohio State University and a BA in History of Art from Denison University, complemented by recent participation in The Met Columbia Business Leadership Program in 2023.
