Ana Lense Larrauri is a seasoned graphic artist with extensive experience in visual journalism and graphic design. Since 1983, Ana has contributed to The Miami Herald, designing four to six pages weekly while managing designs, illustrations, informational graphics, content research, and writing. From 1990 to 2011, Ana served as an assistant designer and freelance illustrator for various newspaper redesign projects, including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and La Nacion in San Jose, Costa Rica. Additional clients include FPL, Southern Bell, and the University of Miami. Ana began the career as a graphic designer at The Lakeland Ledger from 1982 to 1983. Ana holds an Associate degree in Design and Illustration from The Atlanta School of Fashion and Design.
