Previously, Andre worked as a Sports Reporter for the Tallahassee Democrat, covering Florida State University athletics, and held freelance writing positions at the Miami Herald focusing on multiple sports beats. Andre's background also includes a two-year tenure at The Athletic, covering the Miami Marlins, Miami Heat, and Jacksonville Jaguars, along with a long-standing career at the Miami Herald Media Company, where contributions spanned from 1999 to 2018. Andre holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the University of Miami and an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from Miami Dade College.
