Katie Casamassina

Katie Casamassina is an experienced fundraising professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Community Fundraising at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research since August 2021. In this role, Katie oversees revenue forecasting and budgeting for the Team Fox Endurance Program, driving consistent year-over-year revenue growth and establishing new athletic partnerships. Previously, Katie served as a volunteer within the American Cancer Society, contributing to community fundraising efforts and leading initiatives throughout the Southeast region. Alongside professional experiences, Katie is pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Social Finance from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on Religion and Culture from Virginia Tech.
