Sean McGovern

Sean McGovern is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles. Currently serving as the Head of Legal at The Midcounties Co-operative since May 2018, Sean has also held positions as Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Colleague Relations within the organization. Previously, Sean worked at Housing & Care 21 as Legal Counsel from January 2014 to May 2018, contributing to a national social housing and care provider. Sean's earlier career included a role as Associate at Shakespeare Martineau, where advisory work focused on employment and human resources issues. Sean began as a Solicitor at FBC Manby Bowdler LLP after training with the firm. Educational qualifications include a Law LLB from Lancaster University and a Legal Practice Course from Birmingham College of Law.
