James R. Heslop II

Mr. James R. Heslop II, also known as Jim, is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Middlefield Banking Company (the “Bank”). Mr. Heslop became Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Middlefield Banc Corp. (the “Company”) in October 30, 2000. He became a Director of the Middlefield Banking Company in July 1999 and a Director of the Middlefield Banc Corp in November 19, 2001. He is also the Vice President and Secretary and a Director of EMORECO, Inc. From July 1993 until joining the Bank in April 1996, Mr. Heslop was a Director, President, and Chief Executive Officer of First County Bank in Chardon, Ohio. Mr. Heslop earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Wheeling College, an M.B.A. from Tiffin University, and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
