Matt st. Hilaire

Matt St. Hilaire has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Matt most recently served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at The Middlesex Corporation since 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Ward 6 City Councilor at the City of Beverly, Massachusetts, overseeing a $150M city budget.

From 2019 to 2021, Matt St. Hilaire was the Chief Human Resources Officer at MBTA, where they led the human resources function for the oldest public transit agency in North America. Matt managed a workforce of 6,400 employees, 17 labor unions, and a $3B budget.

Before their stint at MBTA, Matt St. Hilaire was the Executive Director at the Massachusetts Republican Party from 2017 to 2019, contributing to the re-election of Governor Charlie Baker.

From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Director of Personnel and Administration at the Office of the Governor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

In addition, Matt St. Hilaire has held various other roles throughout their career, including City Councilor At-Large at the City of Beverly, Recruiting Manager at GEI Consultants, Inc., and Field Management Recruiter & Social Media Manager at Clean Harbors. Matt started their career as a Field Director for Charlie Baker's gubernatorial campaign in 2010.

Matt St. Hilaire obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Villanova University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Beverly High School, from 1991 to 1995.
