Steven Gandia

Steven Gandia, MHSA, MSS, currently serves as Chief of Staff for the Defense Health Agency, after previously holding the position of Senior Program Manager at the Defense Intelligence Agency. Steven's extensive background in military health operations includes leadership roles such as Chief of Operations and Strategic Integration with the US Army and Medical Brigade Commander, where notable accomplishments include the successful fielding of the Army Reserve Medical Command’s first Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force during COVID-19. Steven's expertise encompasses strategic planning, program management, and operational readiness across various military and healthcare environments, supported by a Master’s degree in Management of Acute Care Hospitals and a Master of Science from the United States Army War College.
