Ashley Nelsen

Ashley Nelsen has gained diverse experience in research, clinical settings, and community engagement, primarily through roles at the University of Minnesota as an Undergraduate Research Assistant since September 2016 and earlier as a Research Assistant at the Liver Cancer and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Lab. Nelsen contributed to the CBS Pre-Med Scholars as both Events & Mentorship Coordinator and Service & Community Coordinator from May 2015 to May 2016. Additional roles include working as a Clinical Research Associate at Hennepin County Medical Center and serving in various capacities as a Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard at Nelsen Family Pool and Monticello Community Center. Nelsen obtained education at the University of Minnesota from 2013 to 2017.
