Dimru B Aschenaki

Dimru B Aschenaki is an experienced diplomat currently serving at The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia since March 2023. Prior to this role, Dimru held diplomatic positions at the Embassy of Ethiopia in London from October 2018 to March 2023, as well as at The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia from January 2014 to September 2018. Before entering the diplomatic field, Dimru worked as a history teacher from July 2011 to February 2014. Dimru's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations from Ethiopian Civil Service University (2015-2017), a postgraduate diploma in International Relations from the Institute of Foreign Affairs (2015-2016), and a postgraduate diploma in Diplomacy from FDRE Foreign Service Institute (2014-2015), alongside a history teaching diploma from Haramaya University (2012-2013) and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Heritage Management from Samara University (2009-2012).
