Janna Hottinger

Janna Hottinger has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Janna began their career as a Field Worker for the Wellstone Campaign in 2002. Janna then worked for the City of Minneapolis, first as a Scheduler to the Mayor from 2006 to 2009, and later as the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of Mayor R.T. Rybak from 2009 to 2013. In 2014, Janna joined Generation Next as the Director of Operations, a position they held until 2016. Since 2016, they have been working at The Minneapolis Foundation, initially as the Special Assistant to the President & CEO from 2016 to 2018, and currently as the Chief of Staff to the President & CEO.

Janna Hottinger completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at the University of Minnesota from 1998 to 2002. After that, they pursued a Masters of Arts degree in Public Policy and Administration at Northwestern University, although the specific start and end years for this program are not provided.
