Matthew Kennedy

Matthew Kennedy is a dedicated sports media professional with extensive experience in journalism and broadcasting. Currently serving as a Sports Department Intern at Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., Matthew covers Twins games and assists with highlight reels and news packages for KSTP-TV 5 Eyewitness News. Previously, as a Campus Viceroy at Barstool Sports, Matthew directed content for social media platforms, achieving significant growth in followers. As a Sports Reporter for the Minnesota Daily, Matthew covered major events including NCAA tournaments and Big Ten Media Days, while also contributing to Rivals.com. Matthew's early career included roles as a Pro Shop Associate at Fox Hollow Golf Club and a Newspaper Editor at Totino-Grace High School, showcasing diverse skills in customer service, content creation, and leadership. Matthew is set to graduate from the University of Minnesota in December 2023.
