Gary Blankemeyer is the Chief Financial & Operations Officer at The Mint Museum. Gary has over 25 years of experience in management, finance, human resources, and consulting.

Blankemeyer started their career as a Principal/President of The Blankemeyer Group, a business focused on management/finance/human resource consulting and organizational development. Gary then became the Contract General Manager & CFO for a $50 Million manufacturer and distributor, where they led operations, finance, and human resources. In this role, they successfully managed a 10 point margin turnaround in a price-eroding market. Gary also reduced receivables and inventories by more than 25%, re-engineered processes to improve operations, and improved financial information flow by establishing budget processes.

In 2010, Blankemeyer joined Child Care Resources Inc. as the Sr. VP, Finance & CFO. In this role, they were responsible for directly managing finance, administration, information technology, and human resources. Gary also oversaw the annual disbursement of $50 Million in government subsidies to area child care providers. During their time at Child Care Resources Inc., Blankemeyer quickly returned operations to operating excess after 3 years of deficits. Gary also negotiated a new facility lease that saved 38% to operation and negotiated zero increase in employee benefits for 2014.

Blankemeyer has extensive experience in management and financial operations. Gary is a proven leader in developing people and processes to optimize performance. Gary's experience will be invaluable in their current role at The Mint Museum.

Gary Blankemeyer received their MBA from Carnegie Bosch School of International Business at Carnegie Mellon University, with a focus in management and finance. Gary also holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Cincinnati.
