Scott Waltz is a seasoned art preparation and installation professional with extensive experience in managing art projects and collections. Currently serving as Senior Preparator at The Mint Museum since August 2022, responsibilities include overseeing projects, constructing exhibition supports, and ensuring the safe handling of artworks. Prior to this role, Scott operated as a Self-Employed Art Installation Technician and worked as a Freelance Art Preparator for Piedmont Craftsmen. Previous positions include Events & Membership Manager at U.S. Art Company, Inc., and various roles at the Henry B. Plant Museum and Tampa Museum of Art, where duties encompassed membership coordination, curatorial assistance, and exhibit management. Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine and Studio Arts from the University of South Florida.
