Veronica Garza has extensive work experience in the education sector. Veronica started their career as a Bilingual Teacher in Galena Park ISD in 1999 and later moved to East Central ISD in 2003, where they continued to work as a Bilingual Teacher until 2005. Veronica then joined Education Service Center, Region 20 as an Educational Specialist in Bilingual/ESL from 2005 to 2013. Following that, Veronica worked at Harlandale ISD as a Bilingual/ESL Coordinator from 2013 to 2015. Veronica then joined Education Service Center, Region 20 again, but this time as an Educational Specialist in Research & Development State & Local Initiatives from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, Veronica joined San Antonio ISD as an Implementation Specialist in Bilingual/ESL and later transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal in 2019. Additionally, in 2019, they also worked as a Marketing Representative and Office Manager at The Miramas Group, LLC.

Veronica Garza holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Bilingual/Early childhood from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Veronica also obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Concordia University Texas.
