Christopher J. Liu is an accomplished undergraduate student at Brown University, pursuing a dual degree in Cell & Molecular Biology and Gerontology. In October 2023, Christopher became the first undergraduate to serve as Committee Chair and Research Fellow for the Rhode Island Coalition for Elder Justice, where a project focused on implementing elder abuse screening protocols received mentorship from key state officials. Currently, Christopher is involved in various research and leadership roles, including as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, a Geriatric Clinical Research Assistant at Miriam Hospital, and a Committee Lead for the RI Elder Mental Health and Addiction Coalition. Additional contributions include interning for Pride in Aging RI, leading a health insurance research project for undocumented seniors in Providence, and serving as President of Brown's Hospice Club. With a strong commitment to geriatric advocacy and community health, Christopher continues to enhance the well-being of older adults through multiple initiatives and research efforts.
