Denise Fernandes

Denise Fernandes is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in various capacities within the healthcare field. Currently serving as a Hospitalist at Lifespan since July 2018, Denise also holds the position of Night Operations Clinical Coordinator at Miriam Hospital since July 2021. Additionally, Denise contributes to academic medicine as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Johnson & Wales University and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Previous roles include a Geriatric Fellow at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at Richmond University Medical Center. Denise has a strong educational background, holding an Honours Bachelor of Science in Developmental Biology and Embryology from the University of Toronto and a Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University.
