Zac Durrant has a diverse background in video production and teaching. Zac started their career as a Cinematographer at Motion Media Inc. in 2007 and then became the Director of Video Production for The Miss Utah Organization in 2007. In 2012, they founded their own production company called Stand Out Media. Zac also worked as a Freelance Video Producer for FATFISH and was a Co-Owner of Urban Tent Media. Zac has extensive teaching experience as well, serving as a Video Production Teacher at American Fork High School and Alpine School District. In these roles, Zac developed and managed student-led content teams and collaborated with other teachers to develop video curriculum. Throughout their career, Zac has received recognition and awards for their work in video production.
Zac Durrant completed an Alternative Route to Licensure program at Salt Lake Community College from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Utah Valley University from 2013 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia but did not complete it. Before that, from 2012 to 2013, Zac attended Brigham Young University - Idaho, where they studied Communications - Film Production, also without completing the degree. In 2018, Zac obtained a Teaching Certificate from the State of Utah.
