The Mission Preparatory School
Alondra Garcia, MEd, PPSC, currently serves as the Head Counselor and High School Readiness Counselor at The Mission Preparatory School, where responsibilities include leading the McKinney Vento initiative and community engagement efforts. Previously, Alondra held a counseling intern position at Thomas Edison Charter Academy and worked as an Administrative Assistant at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, focusing on data management and communication systems. Early career experiences include roles at Starbucks, City Year Los Angeles as an AmeriCorps Team Leader and Member, and internships with Women and Youth Supporting Each Other and UCI Family Lab, contributing to community support and educational research. Alondra holds a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Political Science from UC Irvine.
