Ben Xu

Ben Xu is an accomplished student at Yale University, pursuing a simultaneous B.S./M.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science. Ben has extensive experience in various educational and professional roles including serving as the Head First Year Counselor (FroCo), a Teaching Assistant for multiple courses, and a FOOT Leader, all aimed at fostering community and support among students. Ben has also contributed to software development as a Bioinformatics Software Engineer for the OncoKB project at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, interned as a Software Engineer at WeRide, and engaged in research and development for CS50, focusing on AI applications for student support. Ben's technical skills are highlighted by the development of the CourseTable application for the Yale Computer Society and improvements made at OncoKB through API integration.
