Daniel Ortiz has worked as an Education Specialist at The Mission Preparatory School since August 2018. At Our Lady of Loretto Elementary School, Daniel Ortiz began by assisting all teachers from TK-8th grade and reinforcing the instruction taught in the classroom. This eventually lead to becoming a substitute teacher and leading each class. Daniel went over lessons with students individually, answered questions and graded assignments. Daniel assisted with lesson planning and collaborated on ideas with teachers. Daniel also helped with the integration of technology into the classroom by setting up computers and projectors and also facilitated the after-school art club for students in grades TK-4th.

Daniel Ortiz has a Master's degree in Special Education and a Bachelor's degree in Child Development from San Francisco State University.
