Judy Feldmann

Judy Feldmann has extensive editorial experience, currently serving as Managing Editor at The MIT Press since August 2009, where responsibilities include editing manuscripts, managing production stages, and overseeing freelance editors. Feldmann has also held roles as Associate Managing Editor and Senior Editor within the same organization. In addition to a part-time freelance editing career since 1997, Feldmann has worked as an editor for Wakefield Press, focusing on translations of notable literary works. Early experience at The MIT Press included roles as Editor and Editorial Assistant, with responsibilities in copyediting, proofreading, and production management. Feldmann holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with an MA in Philosophy from Tufts University and a BA in English and Philosophy from Franklin & Marshall College.
