Marc Lowenthal

Marc Lowenthal serves as the Senior Acquisitions Editor at The MIT Press, specializing in linguistics, language, and various translation projects across scientific and humanities disciplines since July 2005. In addition to this role, Marc Lowenthal owns and directs Wakefield Press, which focuses on publishing translations of notable literary works in accessible paperback formats. With a long-standing freelance career as a translator, Marc Lowenthal has translated numerous French authors for several prestigious publishers.
