The Momentary
Katie Robertson serves as the Curator of Food & Community and Inaugural Engagement Manager at The Momentary since March 2020, where responsibilities include curating culinary arts programming involving fine dining experiences, pop-ups, lectures, and workshops. Prior to this role, Katie operated as a freelance writer for organizations such as Taste Talks, Food 52, and Saveur, with a focus on food culture, particularly Southern cuisine, and conducted research for the US Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015. Additionally, as Outreach Administrator for New York University's Department of Nutrition and Food Studies from October 2016 to April 2019, Katie managed student advisement, coordinated events, and established relationships with industry partners. Earlier experiences include fellowships and internships at The Wine Enthusiast, Food & Wine, and Food Network Magazine, as well as server and culinary positions, all contributing to a well-rounded expertise in food studies and culinary arts. Katie holds a Master of Arts in Food Studies from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in English and Film Studies from The University of the South.

The Momentary
The Momentary is a new contemporary art space satellite to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in downtown Bentonville, Arkansas. Situated along the Razorback Regional Greenway near 8th Street Market, we’ve transformed a decommissioned 63,000-square-foot cheese factory into a multidisciplinary space for visual and performing arts, culinary experiences, festivals, artists-in-residence, and more. The mission of the Momentary is to champion contemporary art’s role in everyday life. Explore the galleries, catch a performance, enjoy a savory bite or refreshing drink, or just hang out. The Momentary welcomes all with free general admission.
