Kishalay Kundu has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. In 2021, they joined The Money Club, India as the VP of Engineering and a Technical Consultant. From 2019-2021, they were the Co-Founder and CTO of DESH Healthcare. In 2018, they were a Technical Consultant for ResellMe. From 2015-2018, they were a Technical Lead for Octro Inc. From 2014-2015, they were a Senior Technical Developer for Mosix Technologies. From 2009-2014, they were a Doctoral Student (Computer Science) at the University of Maryland, where they designed and implemented a low latency Component Based plug-and-play physical simulation framework. From 2006-2009, they were a Graduate Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. From 2001-2006, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. In 2003 and 2002, they were a Summer Intern at the National Institutes of Health.

Kishalay Kundu completed their B. Tech (Hons) in Electronics & Electrical Comm. Engg from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur between 1993 and 1997. Kishalay then went on to pursue an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba between 1998 and 2000. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County between 2009 and 2015.
